This small site belongs to a find of mine that has moved away to pursue his musical career in San Fransico. Listen to the site and I'm sure you'll hear his band "Downstroke".I plan on keeping his works of art on here so if you enjoy them let him know. Click on the images to enlarge them.
Let me know what you think of these and send me an e-mail:e-mail.

Drunk Bowler
I created this image originally to go on a silk screened flyer for my friend's band. It started out as a black and white line drawing and I liked it so much that I scanned it and took the time to spice it up in Photoshop. On the flyer the bowler is a complete figure with legs and everything, but I got rid of them when I made this image.

Cheese Plumbing
This image started out in my sketch book as a black and white line drawing. I scanned it and then manipulated it in Photoshop as I did with the Drunk Bowler. The original drawing came about one day when I was sitting in the cafeteria at Humboldt State University early one morning skipping my 8:00 am class. I had a hot mug of coffee and wasn't quite awake yet and just started to draw. You see the product here.

This Is Like No Ball I've Ever Seen
Now this is just a plain and simple black and white sketch straight from my sketch book. No attempt at fancy Photoshop editing here. I thought the imagery was strong enough to stand alone by it self with out any color or computer intervention. If I can remember correctly, I created this during a film in a Cinema class I had.

Will It Ever End?!
Be careful here, sometimes looks can be deceiving. Sure it looks like a maze, but go ahead try to follow it. I think you'll find it's not much of a challenge but more of a waste of time. However if you don't have anything to do then be my guest; start at the head and see where you end up. Another piece of art coming from my sketch book which was created in chemistry class one day. I did it with black and red ball point pens.

Nicholas
A photograph taken one night after a few beers for a photography class. It was dark and I didn't have a flash or any fast film so I had to try to hold still with a slow shutter speed and a large f-stop which produced the blur and the trail from the cigarette cherry. I developed the film and made the print my self, which I went on to mount to a piece of white board.

Analogous Digi Morphology Limbo
Well, I don't really know how to explain this one, it sort of took on a life of its own as I was working on it. I started with the hand, then the eyeball appeared, and from there the rest evolved. It was done all with a number two pencil because that was all I had at my disposal at the time. You see, I do a lot of my best work during classes.
